the way that the black and white kind of like reflects off of the color is really cool..it sort of gives life to the image. the mood of this image seems plain and simple with a little bit of stye, thats just the feeling i get out of the majority of black and white images. the work that you have done thus far is done pretty well i would say, it doesnt look as if you've cut any corners or anything. if it were me i would possibly use a different color of glow around the little "stream" of color you have in the middle. that is the main point of focus, it should be more vibrant so that it, for lack of a better word...prettier to look at.
i really like this, i like the face you didnt use much color it makes me focus on the things that are colorful i like the bright color going across the pipe i want to focus on it and take note of everything in there including the trees and such. how did you get the like glow around the gold faucet? i think that was a really cool thing to add :)
